Who is Iain Dawson?
Iain Dawson is a visually impaired athlete with less than 5% vision due to a rare genetic eye condition who has established himself as one of the fastest multi-sport competitors on the world stage. To date, Iain has now won three European and six World triathlon titles from sprint to Ironman, duathlon (run-bike-run) and aquathlon (swim-run)! đ
Paratriathletes compete across a number of categories depending on the type of disability and their level of impairment. Iain competes in the PTVI category for blind and visually impaired athletes alongside a guide who accompanies him throughout the swim, bike and run legs of the triathlon.
